About Agentis Air

Food and water supplies are protected from outside dangers. Indoor air is not, and you cannot go more than a few minutes without it.

Why it matters

Indoor air can carry two to five times the pollutants of the air outside.

That figure comes from EPA research, which has also recorded indoor concentrations more than 100 times higher than outdoors. Research now links indoor air pollution to heart disease and dementia as well as respiratory illness, and none of it is visible to the eye.

Daily life adds to the load. Heating, cooking, cleaning and working all put particles into a room, and the more time you spend at home, the more of them you breathe.

Agentis Air brings together experience in engineering, commercial air pollution control and ventilation, and a personal understanding of the harm indoor air pollution causes. The company's R&D and product testing labs are in Rockville, Maryland.

The team

Engineers, researchers and one very personal reason.

Norm Long

CEO

A licensed Professional Engineer with more than 30 years in HVAC. Norm started as an Air Force design engineer on HVAC projects and an early green energy program, then spent 27 years growing Havtech, a leading commercial HVAC supplier, where he is CEO.

Larry Rothenberg

President

Larry lost a family member to complications from asthma, and cleaner air became his mission. An intellectual property attorney and technology industry veteran, he works with the development team and global partners to bring the patented technology to consumer, commercial and institutional markets.

Igor Krichtafovitch

Director of Research and Development

Igor holds PhD and Doctor of Science degrees, numerous patents and a long publication record. His 25 years of research in electrostatics, in collaboration with the University of Washington's Electrical Engineering Department, produced Advanced Particle Removal Technology.

Alan Viosca

Director of Product Development

Alan applies mechanical engineering, product development and materials science to take designs from prototype to production. He directs the R&D and product testing labs in Rockville.

Ramin Rezaei

Middle East Territory Manager

A mechanical engineer with more than a decade in computational fluid dynamics. As Senior Aerodynamic Engineer, Ramin developed the air-moving system that makes Brio 650 so quiet. He now leads sales and distribution across the Middle East.

Lon Bell

Technical Advisor

A serial entrepreneur and an expert in thermoelectric products. Lon holds more than 100 patents and has written over 40 publications. Five clusters of his inventions have gone into mass production.

You care about indoor air. We do, too.
